This requires the input of various personnel who constitute a healthcare team. A physiotherapist is a very important person in this team, and their role is pivotal in hastening recovery, reducing the hospital stay and returning the patients to their full functional status. The applications of technology in medicine is increasing and contributing to more effective therapy protocols.
