Alumni Overview

The Alumni Association of KMCH College of Occupational Therapy is named the **KMCH Occupational Therapy Alumni Association (KOTAA)**. The Association shall be registered under the provision of Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act.

Aims & Objectives

  • To bring old students of KMCH College of Occupational Therapy, hereinafter referred to as “KMCH Occupational Therapy Alumni Association (KOTAA)," under one forum for the exchange of experience, knowledge, and talents amongst members and the students of the college.
  • To promote social, cultural, and educational relations among the members educated from KMCH College of Occupational Therapy with a view to develop the institution and those who pass out from it.
  • To safeguard and promote the interest of the members by constitutional means and to set up a welfare fund for the welfare of the members under the rules and bye-laws framed thereof for the operation of the fund.
  • To voluntarily associate those who pass out from KMCH College of Occupational Therapy in any program that calls for development of the institution.
  • To maintain records of the profiles of those who pass out from KMCH College of Occupational Therapy.
  • To provide a platform to the old students to meet and undertake any activity to promote their overall development.
  • No Proxy is allowed at any point of time for any activity of the association.
  • The association will not act on a commercial or profit basis and also it is not affiliated with any political party.
  • The association will function and act as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975 and rules 1978.

Amendments

Any alteration to the rules and regulations of the association shall be effected by a vote of at least three-fifths of the full members present at a meeting of the Executive members. Amendments regarding bye-laws shall be proposed in writing by a member or members to the secretary two months prior to the general body meeting and shall be approved at the general body meeting by the majority of votes.
